The Herb Society Meeting took place last Monday 26th August. We had the pleasure of having Tini and Anthony Quinlan from Soil Dynamics as our guest speakers. They have created a selection of safe, healthy and productive fertilisers and soil improvers that are easy to use, versatile and beneficial for the environment. Their range of products are available for home gardeners and commercial farmers alike.
Ericka spoke on a Turmeric, Lemon, Ginger and Honey drink she had found at the supermarket which is ideal for this time of the year with winter bugs in the air which can be served hot or cold. Members were able to sample a cup with supper.
Marjorie’s display table included several unusual Herbs including Moth Mullein, Balm of Gilead, Betel Leaf and Parcel to name a few.
