Albany/Plantagenet Herb Group Event

Spring is definitely springing here in the more Southern Regions and to celebrate the Albany/Plantagenet Herb Group will be part of this years “Bloom Festival”. We will be hosting a 4 day open garden at “Nirronup” from the 23rd to the 26th of September.

Those of you that attended last year’s herb conference tour of this area might remember “Nirronup”, the unusual garden with the labyrinth and the upside down tree. We will also be having displays in the shed of herb crafts, preserving/drying/bottling, basket making, amazing lemons and more. There will be ongoing activities throughout the event with basket making being featured on the Saturday.

The Bloom Festival is a wide ranging festival in the area (see www.hiddentreasures.com.au/bloom) with many events taking place in the immediate Porongurup area over the September long weekend. So, if you love all things garden & nature and have thought about coming south for the September long weekend you now have even more reasons to do it. We’d love to see you at “Nirronup”.
