A great start to our year’s meetings last night with our guest speaker Darren Seinor providing a very interesting talk about landscape gardening, plants to use and how important it is to improve the soil before you start! Lots of take home messages and a lovely plant donated by him that was raffled. Lucky Barbara, lots of people wanted that one!! Herb of the month talk was on ginkgo biloba. I know personally I shall be stalking the Perth suburbs checking out the ginkgo trees! The display table was stunning on herbs for pest control. A good catch up was had by all. Don’t forget it’s the AGM at the next meeting and then we are looking at bee hotels… Look forward to seeing everyone next month… ?
