What a great meeting we had on Monday evening. Our guest speaker Lynne Chapman from Heritage Roses was so interesting. I learnt a lot about Roses that I never knew and confirmed that Heritage Roses are for me, I can feel a new obsession coming on! Thank you Lynne for a fantastic talk. We also learnt about native thyme and got to try some cheesy biscuits with thyme added and had a look at a vanilla bean orchid brought in by one of our members. There may still be some left at the big green shed if you hurry but they will take a lot of care and attention to get vanilla beans in Perth….
