We had our first meeting of the year on Monday and it was a good one. Michael Braybrook from #Whittington’s Herbs and Spices gave a great talk about the difficulties in sourcing herbs from the Eastern States especially during Covid and the railway breakdowns and why we should grow and use local products more. He also spoke about and then gave out their new range of ‘Rubs’ as raffle prizes. Lucky us! There was a herb of the month talk on magnolia, raffles, Regina giving away free plant pots, tea and containers, I hope everyone took some home! And a lovely supper with lemon verbena tea. A great evening, let’s do it all again next month
